Thai couple Ekkachai and Laksana Tiranarat locked lips for 58 hours, 35 minutes, and 58 seconds during a Valentine's Day Kissathon event in Pattaya, Thailand - setting a Guinness World Record that stands to this day.
The rules of the event required continuous lip contact - no breaks, no sleep, with eating and drinking done while kissing. The couple were reportedly motivated purely by love for each other and a desire to demonstrate it in the most extravagant way possible.
